Welcome Affiliates to a New Year with Division 16!
It’s great beginning a new year —new hopes and dreams, opportunities and plans! Building on the success of Division 16 over its 4 years in existence, the Steering Committee (Fran Block, Deborah Lozo, Ninevah Murray, Erin Dyer Olson) and the Committee Chairs (Ellen Estomin, Nena Germany-Greer, Joan Marttila, and Denise Yess) are planning exciting activities for 2004!
As you know, a primarily focus of Division 16 has been to advocate and exchange information on grassroots issues. Anecdotal evidence suggests that, as No Child Left Behind (NCLB) moves to the front pages of the newspaper and demands are increasing to implement various components of the Act in our schools, it is becoming a priority focus for all of us.
