Division 16 is the first Special Interest Division to implement a program to involve state representatives in an effort to increase Division membership. Volunteers were recruited through the Division 16 Email List, the July 2003 ASHA School’s Conference, and an article in the October 2003 issue of Perspectives. We are proud to introduce the following volunteers who will serve as our State Membership Liaisons:
We are grateful to these volunteers for spreading the good news about the benefits of affiliation with our division. The State Liaisons also serve as a conduit to convey concerns expressed by the affiliates in their states to the Division 16 Steering Committee to enhance communication among the membership.
