We’re on the home stretch&IEP “crunch time,” last minute evaluation referrals from teachers, paperwork compilation, more NCLB requirements, after school meetings, teacher retirement parties, etc. Hopefully, in between those responsibilities, we get glimpses of the upcoming summer&the beach, barbecues, warm weather and summer breezes, time to read good books (or, the latest issues of Division 16 Perspectives), travel, being with family and friends, long walks, a chance to “recharge your battery,” even if you have decided to change the scenery with another summer job. Just hold onto those thoughts, if this newsletter catches you before the end of the school year, and put those thoughts into action if your school year has ended! You deserve it!
