First, before I share any news with you, I would like to thank our Editor, Sally Ann Giess, and her Assistant Editor, Kim Ennis, for an excellent October Perspectives, the first one put out with them at the helm. Yes, these women have very challenging full-time jobs, yet they managed to put in endless amounts of time necessary to contact authors, solicit, read and revise manuscripts, and take care of the myriad details necessary to put Perspectives into your mailbox. We are also grateful to the peer reviewers from the Div. 16 Editorial Board for their assistance in reviewing the October issue: Crystal Cooper (FL) and Laura Young- Campbell (AK).
