Welcome to the December 2010 issue of the Division 16 Perspectives.
SallyAnn Giess has again prepared an outstanding issue for your professional growth. Poster Session Highlights from Schools 2010 is the topic of this issue. The authors who contributed to this issue developed their articles around their presented poster sessions at the ASHA Schools Conference. Thank you to Charlette Green, Nancy Huff, and Lisa O'Connor for their excellent peer reviews. A special thank you to Judy Rudebusch who concludes her term as a Perspectives reviewer.
Your Division 16 Steering Committee (SC) has been very active. Ellen Estomin, Associate Coordinator, responded on behalf of the Division to the Governmental and Public Policy priorities. Ruth Callahan continues to monitor our Division committees. Special Projects chair Laura Young-Campbell is preparing a new Webinar to be held in the new year. Lisa Keane continues her duties as CE Administrator and is available to affiliates who have questions or concerns about the Perspectives CE activities. She also was elected the vice-chair of the Speech Pathology Advisory Council for 2011.
