Earlier this year, Coordinators of all 16 Special Interest Divisions met as the Board of Division Coordinators (BDC) at the ASHA National Office, to review issues salient to all Divisions and to plan for the future. We were joined by Perspectives Editors and Continuing Education Administrators (CEAs), including our own Div. 16 CEA, Lisa Keane.
One of our agenda items was a discussion of the 2008 ASHA Special Interest Division Satisfaction Survey. Affiliates of all divisions with an e-mail address on file, including 5,387 Division 16 affiliates, were sent this Web-based survey on August 12, 2008. No follow-up reminders were sent to non-respondents. Div. 16 had an 11.9% response rate, with 631 affiliates completing the survey.
