I hope all of you have had a good start to the new school year. In our effort to continually provide more than 5,700 affiliates an agenda for the rest of this year and beyond, the Division 16 Steering Committee (SC) has been busy working all summer long.
We were so pleased to greet many of you in July at another outstanding ASHA School's Conference held in Orlando, FL. Because Division 16 is a major co-sponsor of this conference, we were able to sponsor one of the featured sessions. We listened to our affiliates and chose “Classroom Acoustics: Language, Listening, and Learning” presented by Joseph J. Smaldino. SC members introduced other presenters, and we all participated as facilitators in both of the round table discussions.
